Dr Shakir graduated from The University of Dundee, UK, in 2004. He completed the majority of his hospital training and General Practice training in New Zealand, gaining broad clinical experience across a range of healthcare settings.

Dr Shakir also holds a Diploma in Dermatology from The University of London. He consults on all aspects of General Practice, with particular interests in dermatology, preventative health and chronic disease management.

He values taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns and aims to provide thorough, patient-centred care tailored to individual needs.
