PATIENT INFORMATION: Regarding Costs of Consumables

Due to the rising costs of consumables, unfortunately we have no choice but to charge a small fee to help cover the costs of materials used in minor procedures (which includes but is not limited to the instruments used, sterilisations, needles/syringes, local anaesthetic/medications, sutures and dressings)

This is all brought by the Practice and not able to be reimbursed by Medicare.

We subsequently have had to introduce these fees for consumables used so that we can continue to provide this service.

We hope this helps you understand these fees and we appreciate your ongoing support.

Thank you for your understanding Berrigan Family Medical Centre
